Seton Education Partners seeks a mission-driven, results-oriented individual to serve as Recruitment Associate for the Seton Teaching Fellows Program. Recruitment Associates (RAs) grow and strengthen our talent pipeline by sourcing and engaging top individuals to join our organization. As a Recruitment Associate, you will build strategic candidate pipelines for our recruitment campaigns, identify and engage top prospects and inspire a broad network of constituents, helping to build a large and talented pipeline of candidates.

Seton Teaching Fellows accompanies, develops, and challenges young Catholics to serve students, families, and each other by imitating the love of Christ the Teacher in underserved communities and beyond.
Seton Teaching Fellows is a one or two-year postgraduate mission opportunity that brings the living Gospel and the beauty of the Catholic faith to children and families in underserved communities. Fellows rely on both time-tested and innovative methods that help the children and families they serve, as well as their peers, to better know, love, and serve Christ and His Church. At the same time, they participate in their own spiritual formation by developing the habits, dispositions, and beliefs indispensable to human flourishing and happiness.

The ideal candidate will bring experience and skills including:
- A bachelor’s degree (required);
- At least one year of teaching in a school serving predominantly low-income children with demonstrated exemplary student achievement results;
- A strong work ethic coupled with an enthusiastic and passionate approach to work;
- Extremely strong organizational skills, including detail-orientation, ability to organize, prioritize, track, and manage workflow/resources;
- Ability to strategically manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment;
- Strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving. Can analyze multiple pieces of data and draw strong conclusions to impact strategy;
- Clear, concise, compelling communication to influence action in others, both internally and externally, verbally and in writing;
- Learns, improves, adapts, and shifts seamlessly to evolving team needs and opportunities.
- Preferred, but not required: Social media & digital marketing experience, familiarity with Catholic higher education and ministries serving college students and young adults, experience in hiring or HR.

About the job of Recruitment Associate (RA)

Our programs and schools have developed strong, team-oriented cultures. As an RA on the Seton Teaching Fellows’ talent team, you're charged with finding strong, mission-aligned candidates. This work starts the moment someone encounters Seton Teaching Fellows, continues when they apply (referred to as Phase 1), throughout the Interview process, and after they are accepted into the program (referred to as Phase 2). The work of a Recruitment Associate ensures Seton Teaching Fellows is filled with those who bring a passion and commitment to our mission, students, families, and communities that we serve. While your work may cover one phase of recruitment more than others, your efforts and insights must support the entire candidate journey: from first meeting STF through onboarding. Regardless, Seton Teaching Fellows’ vision statement will animate the cadence of your work: Loving and evangelizing each person before us, with the heart, mind, and spirit of Christ the Teacher.
Supporting Phase 1, Each RA sources and cultivates candidates through in-person and online methods. In all avenues, you will communicate with consistency and professionalism. Each semester, you will travel up to 4-6 weeks to college campuses, ministries, and other events on recruitment trips. These trips include research, outreach and relationship-building with campus leadership, promotion, sourcing potential candidates, hosting events, and following up with leads and connections upon completion of a trip.
During seasons when you are not traveling, you will utilize platforms like HubSpot and LinkedIn Recruiter to build consistent connections with potential fellows. With a vision for the long-term success of Seton, you will support the Marketing Manager to build lasting connections that are logged and cultivated beyond just one year. You are responsible for owning the communication for potential candidates in your respective pipeline for both the upcoming STF Cohort year and beyond. Within your role, you may also be required to learn and gain proficiency in email marketing, social media, video editing, Adobe Lightroom, photography, Job Boards, and more.
In Phase II, each RA will support the Talent Team with timely and accurate records, and an in-depth of candidates. Each RA will schedule interviews, take detailed notes on each candidate, and handle communication with urgency and attention to detail. You will maintain a general understanding of each candidate in the pipeline. You will also conduct reference checks, track decision extensions, and update weekly candidate data. They will read through all interviews and notes on each candidate, following up in a timely manner with each member of our team to gain complete understanding of each person’s candidacy.
You will assist the Staffing Manager in Post Acceptance Formation, tracking and maintaining candidate data and attendance while making meaningful contributions to the content of post acceptance formation. You will assist the Staffing Manager in candidate placements through knowledge of each candidate’s gifts and talents.
Collaboration with entire National Team:
The Seton Teaching Fellows Talent Team is an exciting and focused group responsible for all hiring functions for the National Seton Teaching Fellows Program. You will work closely with the entire National Team, including the Chief of Seton Teaching Fellows, the Director of Mission Life, the Director of Apostolic Life, the entire STF Talent Team, and school and program leaders at STF placement sites.
We are trusted advisors to Seton Education Partners and school/program leaders, providing advice about the external talent market and how it compares to the talented team we already have in the organization. As a member of the STF National Team, leaders across geographies will experience the impact of your work. With a perspective on the external talent landscape and deep insights into school and program priorities, you will develop search strategies and lead engagements to position us for success today and well into the future. The base pay range for this position is $70,000-$75,000 per year in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Pay may vary within the stated range, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
